Sustainability
Policy

At Four Winds we are committed to a sustainable future for all and take seriously our role as a guardian of the land we inhabit.

Power

We generate our power via a solar array on the roof of the Windsong Pavilion.

Water

We irrigate from our dam which is fed by rain, run-off and waste-water from our natural filtration sewerage system.

Reforestation

We are committed to replanting native flora on our site – over 2000 trees have been planted to date with the support of Land Care.

Green suppliers

We select product and supplies which minimise impact on the environment.

Waste & Recycling

With the help of Bega Valley Shire Council we carefully manage our food and recyclables and waste.

Transport

We encourage the use of free shuttle bus transport for our Easter Festival in order to minimise car usage. However, we acknowledge that our location means many people, including artists, must travel to Four Winds by road and air.

Local produce

Our vendors are all local. We showcase local produce at our events minimising supply and food kilometres.
