about Kelesi Woodhouse
Kelesi Woodhouse has been a professional musician since the age of twenty. Classically trained, with an abiding interest in jazz piano and composition, Kelesi began her career in rock bands touring Australia in the 70s and 80s. Her first album of original material was published in 1991, just before the birth of her first child, with the second child arriving two years later. Kelesi continued performing as a singer and pianist, having tutored piano and singing since 1988.
In 2019, Kelesi recorded two albums, Unfolding Origami (songs) and Seams of Sound (piano & instrumental), released online in March 2020. Although the fires and global pandemic interrupted the release date and live gigs, Kelesi is delighted to be able share her passion for the joy and inspiration of original music.
