‘’Rune sings with an ease that is pure undiluted emotion. Pulling out those parts of you that have long been in hiding’’

A cross pollination of Contemporary-Melancholy-Folk-Pop and Indie textures encapsulate the general feel for her suite of original music. Understated piano arrangements accompany her honest, expressive voice.

Rune’s performances of the past 3 years have gained a reputation for their transformative approaches to unique and unexpected settings. A variety of buildings including a church, an old cinema, small retail boutiques and an office warehouse have been host to artfully curated, intimate sold out shows. This performance however, is the moment we have all been waiting for! It will fulfil a three year dream of Rune’s to perform on the Far South Coast’s very own Windsong Pavilion. ‘Ever since I stepped foot in the beautiful and captivating Four Winds Windsong Pavilion I knew one day I wanted to perform there’ RA. Last year Rune was supported by Four Winds to undergo a weekend residency in the dreamy acoustic setting of the Windsong Pavilion. During this time she recorded a selection of songs with William Adams of Far South Audio and Recording. William skilfully and intuitively captured the songs that make up her debut EP – HOME. The themes and storytelling elements are tied closely to her experience of growing up on the Far South Coast and since unexpectedly returning to live after travelling, studying and living abroad. Melbourne, London, Sydney and the Northern Rivers have all been influential places of home to her. Four Winds Windsong Pavilion is a state of the art facility designed by architect Clinton Murray and is an acoustically pristine performance space. This magical rich setting feels completely fitting to mark this milestone in her early career as an emerging Australian Woman in Music.

This performance will celebrate and bookend an emotional body of work and acknowledge the official launch of her anticipated debut EP – HOME. Over the previous three years Rune has collaborated and performed alongside Max Garner Tucker (Trombone) Elizabeth Andalis (Violin), Chris Costello (Keys), Cale Phelps (Guitar) and Anatoli Torjinski (Cello), her most recent collaboration is with Robbie Hart who plays crystal sounds bowls who will feature in parts of the performance – an unexpected and truely unique rich soundscape can be expected by this transformative set of instuments.

“It is a true honour and joy to have joined forces with these incredible artists . They are all so generous in their offerings of personal timbre, adding layers and textures I could only have dreamed of. Magic happens with intuitive musicians”
