Four Winds is proud to be the recipient of a 2017 Creative Partnerships Plus 1 award which gives small to medium arts and cultural organisations dollar-for-dollar matched funding for fundraising campaigns.  The scheme is designed to help organisations such as Four Winds develop their capacity in fundraising activities, particularly from individual giving.
Four Winds invites you to be part of Composing the Future with Four Winds’ new Artistic Director, James Crabb. We are launching a campaign to raise $55,000 to support James’ vision for great new work and exceptional performances at Four Winds.

James will lead Four Winds in the creation of new work and by inviting fabulous musicians to work with and perform for our audiences and our community.

  1. New Work.  With your support we will commission a significant new work from an internationally regarded composer to be premiered at the 2018 Festival.
  2. Resident Artist.  Your donation will support a resident artist for Bermagui.  We will create an opportunity for a musician to be resident at Four Winds and in Bermagui. This artist will work with the community and share their expertise with our young people and adults alike to enrich their experience of and participation in music.  They will also use the residency as an opportunity to be inspired by our beautiful location to develop their own work.
  3. The Windsong Series.  James will, with your support, bring major Australian and International Artists to perform in the Windsong Pavilion. This series was launched on 12 February 2017 by the internationally acclaimed pianist Piers Lane – supported by SSO concertmaster and violinist, Andrew Haveron and our very own James Crabb – and will further cement Bermagui and the Windsong Pavilion’s reputation as a world class destination for music making by bringing major artists to perform in our region and to work with our community.

As a donor you will be kept abreast of all Four Winds activities and offered opportunities to connect with the activities you have supported as they develop.

Your tax deductable donation (*) will be matched dollar for dollar and you will play a significant part in bringing great music and musicians to Bermagui – for your enjoyment and the benefit of all.

Thank you for playing your part in Composing the Future!
