Cullen’s song writing gravitas has been described as Bob Dylan-esque and often compared to the likes of Tom Waits, Elvis Costello and Leonard Cohen.
Songwriter, storyteller and one of Australia’s most talented guitarists. A genuine troubadour whose performance is suave and captivating – he romances with earthy atmospheres that are peppered with grit and drenched in soul.
Most recently Health collaborated with Grammy Award winning producer Joe Henry for 2020’s Springtime In The Heart and has played with members of Elvis Costello’s bands Imposters and members of The Attractions.
In this intimate concert, Cullen and his band will perform reimagined renditions of his older works, alongside debut performances of brand-new music crafted during a week-long residency with Four Winds.
“The best thing from down under since Nick Cave”
“One of the finest, most inspired Australian rock albums in quite some time… the work of a man well on top of his game”
