Wali is a Dhurga word meaning ‘return, come back, give back’. A theme chosen for its spirit of reconnection after time apart, and a coming together of inspiring & vibrant ideas.

The event has been curated by our Create & Inspire Team David Hewitt and Lara Crew. An afternoon for families to come together and listen to music, songs and stories from our community’s youth. We’d love to see you there for an opportunity to unwind in a relaxed environment on a Friday afternoon with outdoor games, a food vendor and beautiful vocal & instrumental arrangements.

The offering will include performances by Luminescence Chamber Singers and Inventi Ensemble alongside Djinama Yilaga Choir and the young people of the Far South Coast. Expect to be uplifted and to leave with a reignited sense of creativity and hope.
