Sadly, Covid has claimed one of Van Diemen’s Fiddles in the last few days which have necessitated some last-minute adjustments to the Friday night program.
We are delighted to announce that the Australian musical icon William Barton, who is appearing in the Festival Finale on Sunday, has agreed at late notice to come to Four Winds a day early to curate and perform in a Four Winds all-star concert. Barton has assembled a brilliant festival line-up including violin virtuoso Veronique Serret and stellar pianist Tamara Anna Cislowska, with a final line-up of artists to be announced in the next 24 hours. While we are disappointed not to be able to share Van Diemen’s Fiddles with our audiences, the replacement concert led by one of Australia’s most distinguished musicians is guaranteed to be a night to remember.
