Visitor information

Bermagui is a picturesque fishing village on NSW’s South Coast. A day’s drive from Sydney and Melbourne and a half day from Canberra, it sits on a pristine area of coast, fringed by forest, sapphire seas, farmland and National Parks.

Bermagui has limited accommodation in the township, and as Easter is a peak period we suggest you book early. You may find additional accommodation at Tilba, Mystery Bay, Narooma, Cobargo, Bega or Tathra, each an easy drive from Four Winds.

The friendly, knowledgeable staff at the Bermagui Visitor Information Centre look forward to welcoming and assisting you with information on attractions, things to do and accommodation in the local area and the Sapphire Coast region.

Additional information about planning your visit can be found here and more information about exploring the region can be found here.

our Covid-safe plan

In response to the evolving Covid-19 environment Four Winds would like to provide the following update on our COVID plan for our Festival at Easter.

Heavy rain over the last two months has left the Four Winds Sound Shell at Barragga Bay waterlogged and unable to safely accommodate expected audiences at the Festival over Easter Weekend. As a result, the Four Winds team has decided to move some events into indoor venues in Cobargo.

Moving the Festival to indoor spaces compels Four Winds to ensure our Covid protocols appropriately respond to the changing circumstances. Doors and windows may need to be closed due to rain, reducing ventilation.

  • Patrons attending will be required to show proof of vaccination or medical exemption;
  • Patrons will be required to wear masks while indoors;
  • Sanitation stations are provided at all Four Winds Venues;
  • Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell.

All Four Winds artists, volunteers, staff and crew will be vaccinated, be required to take Rapid Antigen Tests daily and wear masks where practical.

We are constantly monitoring the changing COVID situation in NSW.

Bookings for all events are essential, even those that are free of charge and for children 16 years and under.

These arrangements may be changed at short notice (particularly in the light of Public Health Orders) so please follow directions on the day. We appreciate your understanding in this ever-changing environment.
