Key to our Future

‘Key to our Future’ a major fundraising campaign in 2016 enabled us to purchase a stunning concert grand piano. This picture of the piano with a shining reflection of our beautiful site is a great reminder of how present nature is in all musical experiences at Four Winds.

The impact of Four Winds housing this piano is remarkable. Young talented pianists come to practice and perform on the instrument; it has enabled us to expand our programming and attract top-flight pianists to Four Winds – Piers Lane who performed for us in February 2017 is no exception – and there is no doubt it contributes to the venue’s credibility as a performance and recording space

The String Contingent recording

Genevieve Lacey – a close friend of Four Winds and previous Artistic Director – recently recorded her latest project in the Windsong Pavilion. This is an image of the String Contingent – an international trio (Australia/Scotland) – recording their album ‘Iterations’ with a local live audience.
