Four Winds Pop-Up Cinema experience, set in the stunning natural environment of the Four Winds site at Barragga Bay 9kms south of Bermagui, features iconic films which are all united by music. Live music performances will begin each night in the Windsong Pavilion from 7pm. The films will then be screened in the Four Winds Sound Shell amphitheatre from sundown:

- Thursday 4 January; INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS– a fascinating window into the emerging folk scene in New York in the 1960s. Live music by JOSHUA WELLINGTON, an acoustic blues and folk performer from Verona, not far from the Four Winds site;
- Friday 5 January; ONCE– which follows the romantic and musical story of an Irish contemporary folk musician and his complex relationship with a Czech flower seller and fellow musician. They bond over a broken vacuum cleaner! Live music by TEXTURE LIKE SUN, Melbourne based, established indie/folk musician;
- Saturday 6 January; SHINE– starring Geoffrey Rush. ‘Shine’ explores the brilliance and struggle of talented classical pianist David Helfgott. Live music by LUCA ZIINO, an exceptional young classical pianist based in Pambula, will play the Four Winds concert grand piano on the closing night.
“Here at Four Winds we often speak about the beauty and brilliance of music-making. The four films selected are a celebration of music and a chance to explore the way music weaves its way through our lives, as well as examining the magical and often complex process of music making” says Leah Szanto, Four Winds’ Pop Up Cinema Producer.
